Rere Khaosan Restaurant & Bar
Overview
Rere Khaosan is a popular and relatively new hybrid restaurant/bar located at 190 Khaosan Road. It offers a daytime dining experience with Thai and European dishes, and transforms later in the evening into a more lively venue with live music, DJs and a club-style feel.
About
During the day, Rere functions as a relaxed restaurant where you can enjoy a meal or a few beers while watching the bustle of Khao San Road pass by. As night falls, the venue ramps up: two floors, DJs, live bands, dancing, and more of a bar/club feel. It’s pretty spacious and more inviting than some of the KSR bars and offers a comfortable seating setup.
Music
Live music is a key component at Rere Khaosan. Live bands play regularly in the evenings, as do DJs. The music style tends to be crowd-friendly, entertainment-oriented rather than pure club EDM. Check the social media listed above to see who’s playing.
Food & Drinks
Food: The menu covers Thai classics like pad thai and green curry, as well as western dishes. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is pretty good.
Drinks: Beer (bottled and draught), cocktails, mixers and drink buckets are available. Prices are in line with what you generally pay on Khaosan, with bottled beer starting at around 110 Baht

Insider Tips
- Check the entertainment schedule ahead via their Instagram (link at top of the page) to align your visit with music you’ll enjoy.
- If visiting for dinner, try to go before the big crowds arrive to avoid slower service.
- If you’re sensitive to noise or want a meal rather than dancing, plan to wrap up before the late-night transition.
- For a group of friends with mixed interests (some want dinner, some want dancing), this place can satisfy both: just coordinate where you sit and when you arrive.
