The Club Khaosan
Overview
Club Khaosan is a major nightclub located at 123 Khao San Road. It’s gained international recognition, being ranked No. 76 in the world in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs list for 2025.
After a recent full-scale renovation, the venue features high-end production values: a large LED screen behind the DJ booth, immersive lighting, and a superior sound system.
About The Club Khaosan
The atmosphere at The Club Khaosan is high-energy, designed for a full-on dance night rather than a casual bar experience. The venue could be described as Ibiza style with a large single room, elevated DJ booth, and a big dance floor.
It draws a mixed crowd of tourists, backpackers, expats and locals — people who come to party, dance, and experience world-class club culture in Bangkok.
Lighting and visual effects play a big role: smoke machines, laser lights, CO₂ cannons and floor-to-ceiling LED visuals create a festival-style environment.
Music – DJs & MCs
Music is at the core of The Club’s offering. Genres typically include house, bass house, tech house, progressive house, big-room house, and sometimes hip-hop or open-format sets.
They host popular resident DJs and high-profile international guests. Names such as Jaden Bojsen, MOKABY, Felipe Zona, LUNAX, 22Bullets, Loopers have all played sets here.
It’s LOUD, thanks to the upgraded “Funktion-One Evolution-X” 360° immersive audio sound system.
Food & Drinks
While The Club Khaosan is primarily a nightclub and dance venue, it does offer a full bar with spirits, cocktails and beer. Prices are actually pretty reasonable considering the quality of the venue.
Be sure to eat before you get here: finger-food or snacks may be available, but the main draw is the drinks and the club experience.

Insider Tips
- Dress smart-casual: While Khao San clubs are more relaxed than luxury venues elsewhere, dressing a bit sharper may help you avoid any issues at entry.
- Check event nights: When the club has international guest DJs or special event parties the cover charge may be higher and the venue will fill more quickly.
- Budget for drinks: Although the prices are quite reasonable, expect drinks to be more than street bars. Take advantage of any promotions on offer.
- Ear protection optional: If you’re sensitive to loud music, this venue is very loud (sound system designed for full club effect) – ear-plugs might help (available from pharmacies).
- Stay safe & aware: As in all venues, keep an eye on your belongings and have a plan for getting back (taxi, rideshare) after the night.
